This small tropical Island in Thailand, boasts of, vertical limestone stone cliffs, emerald waters, lush vegetation, floating villages, and breathtaking scenery.
The stunning James Bond Island, with its signature rocky pinnacle, is a famous landmark in Phang Nga Bay. Located northeast of Phuket, Thailand, it has been a major tourist attraction ever since it featured in the 1974 Bond movie, ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’.
Distinctive features of the island include: the spectacular vertical limestone rocks that jut out of the emerald-green water, lush vegetation and mystic caves. Its a popular locations for swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, caving, exploring in the bay, and the village on stilts.
The entire surrounding is spectacular, but it can get crowded with tourist boats in high season. As it is under Ao Phang Nga National Park protection, no boats of any kind are allowed to go too close to the island because of its precarious position.
