The award-winning Woolacombe Beach, stretches three-miles and is backed by rolling dunes, with rock pools, pristine water, and gently sloping sands. Located in the North Devon area, it is one of the best in the United Kingdom.
As a blue flag beach, it is a safe beach with first-aid and lifeguards on hand in the summer months. For children, there is a miniature train. It has excellent facilities available for surfing, windsurfing, sailing and sea canoeing. It offers ideal surfing conditions for surfers.
In the height of summer, the beach is especially popular with families. There is plenty of room for games whether it’s beach cricket, volleyball, frisbee or sandcastle building.
