The annual Adelaide Fringe is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is held from February to March and attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.
Adelaide Fringe is so special as it is open to anyone with a talent, which means performances can be anything from cabaret to comedy and circus acts in addition to musical, dance, theater and visual arts.
The festival growing popularity has spread into the regional South Australia, with more than 1100 events staged in established venues such as theaters, hotels, art galleries, cafes and town halls, as well as in pop-up venues, in parks, warehouses, lane-ways and empty buildings. With over 5,000 artists showcasing their stuff there is plenty to see!
