The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, or Jazz Fest, is an annual celebration of the indigenous music and culture of Louisiana with the combined fervor of a gospel hymn and contemporary and traditional jazz. The festival is a major tourist destination, with economic importance for New Orleans.
The Festival has a wide mix of internationally renowned artistic guests such as: Rod Stewart, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald, Bruce Springsteen, Sting and many others.
