The iconic festival is a celebration of eleven Polynesian Island’s traditional and contemporary music, dance performances, customs, arts and crafts and cuisine.

The Pasifika Festival is a Pacific Islands-themed festival that is a celebration of Pacific culture, language and heritage. It is the largest festival of its type in the world, and attracts over 200,000 visitors every year.

This annual event is held in early March at the Western Spring Lakeside in Auckland, New Zealand. It is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the diverse cultures of Auckland’s Pacific communities.

Experience the sights, sounds and flavours of the Pacific at the eleven Pacific Island villages of – Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Tokelau, Tahiti, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Hawaii and Tangata Whenua (New Zealand Maori).

Enjoy the demonstrations, ground and stage performances and market stalls of each Pacific village with their arts and crafts unique to their culture. Taste the gourmet selection of Pasifika favorites, including Hawaii’s smoky barbecue, Samoan delicacy Palusami or Tokelau’s tasty traditional fish dish. Take part in the island beat by dancing and drumming around the Pacific.
