The St. Kitts Music Festival (originally, the Shak Shak Festival) has earned the reputation for being the most diversified music event in the Caribbean. The premier music festival is held annually in June on the Caribbean Islands of St. Kitts.
The popular festivals features a broad range of musical styles including: rhythm and blues, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, soca, calypso, gospel and contemporary music. Past artists have included, John Legend, Lionel Richie, Jason Derulo, Trey Songz, T-Pain, Michael Bolton, R. City, and the Sunshine Band, UB40’s Ali Campbell, Goo Goo Dolls, and other artists.
