8. Amy Lynn Bradley

23 year-old, Amy Lynn Bradley was aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Rhapsody of the Seas in March 1998, with her family when she disappeared. It happened in the early morning of Tuesday, March 24, 1998 when the ship was travelling to the next port - Curacao. There was an extensive search of the ship, and evidence that she had fallen overboard.

In August, 1998, two Canadian tourists reported seeing a woman resembling Amy on a beach in Curaçao and the woman's tattoos were reportedly identical to Bradley's. In 1999, a Navy member claimed a woman in a brothel had said she was Bradley and had asked him for help. A reward of $250,000 is offered for information leading to Bradley's return. Her case has been featured by 'America's Most Wanted' and by the television show 'Vanished'.

7. Tara Calico

In 1988, 19-year-old, Tara Calico went for a bicycle ride near her house in the small town of Belen, New Mexico. She listened to her Walkman as she pedaled along her usual route down Highway 47. Although she was due to return home by noon, she was last seen around 11:45 a.m., two miles away. Her mother went searching for her before contacting the police.

In 1989, a Polaroid photograph of a woman resembling Tara, was found in Florida. Next to her was 9-year-old Michael Henley who was taken on a family camping trip. Both were bound and gagged in the back of a van. Police searched but still not able to find them.

His Vauxhall Cavalier was eventually found near the old Severn Bridge more than two weeks later - prompting fears he had committed suicide. Despite several claimed sightings, there is no trace of Edward. But after 20 years, his sister, Rachel Elias said she simply does not know if her brother is alive or dead.

5. Azaria Chamberlain

In August of 1980, nine-week-old Azaria and her family were camping in Australia’s Northern Territory, when according to her mother Lindy, a dingo snatched her baby girl from a tent. Although witnesses corroborated Lindy’s account, Lindy herself was under suspicion. An entirely different theory about Azaria’s death led to a 1982 murder trial, a conviction, and a life sentence for Lindy Chamberlain.

In 1986, a British climber fell to his death from Uluru, and investigators discovered baby Azaria’s missing jacket amid nearby dingo lairs. Lindy Chamberlain was released from prison, but it wasn’t until 2012 when authorities finally ruled that Lindy had been telling the truth all along - the dingo did take her baby.
