The only Christmas parade where Santa is not necessarily the biggest star, Hollywood features a blockbuster lineup of parade participants every year.

Christmas parades are one of the most festive times of the season. Hordes of merrymakers gather together in a spirit of camaraderie and goodwill, ready to watch the colorful parade go by.

Since 1928, the world famous annual all-star holiday celebration brings festive cheer to the Hollywood streets, particularly Sunset Boulevard, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade features numerous colorful festive floats, giant balloons, marching bands, and celebrity hosts is perhaps the most important part of the parade: the chance to welcome Santa Claus to Los Angeles as he ushers in the festive season.

The Parade is enjoyed by thousands on the streets of Hollywood, as well as millions on television. The Hollywood Christmas Parade is not an event to miss, bringing holiday joy to all!
